Kelmar & Associates was founded by Cheryl Kelmar. Ms. Kelmar has over 20 years experience in

* IT and Software Verification and Programming;
* On-Line Multiplayer Community, Wireless and Advertising Game Development;
* Proposal/Grant and New Business Development;
* Program and Product Management;
* Patent Law, Legal Research, Contract Management and Real Estate law; and
* Clinical Trial and Focus Group Implementation.

Ms. Kelmar has a Masters in Computer Engineering and Biomedical Technology from the University of California in Santa Barbara; a J.D. from Concord Lawschool, where she specialized in patent law; and two bachelor degrees from Western Michigan University in computer and electrical engineering.

As Founder and Program Manager for MedicalWorks Inc. Ms. Kelmar developed and managed four Phase I and Phase II Small Business Innovative Research Grants from the NIH. As the Principal Investigator, she managed contracts, trademarks and intellectual property. Ms. Kelmar produced an on-line multi-player health game for youth smoking cessation, called Buddies OnLine; a CD Rom health focused game, called Mind & Mayhem; and programmed firmware for a proprietary device. She supervised programmers, artists, marketing specialists and PhDs consultants; and contributed to script development, code construction and management, software statements of work. quality, verification and databases. For the University of California,she produced real time C++ image processing software for endoscopic camera images, filtered through a Krypton laser, within a real-time surgical environment, for the early localization of cancer. Ms. Kelmar programmed firmware for a variety of microprocessor families and applications, such as EW System for the Navy; a Motorola and Intel based Cadillac display; and verification for Boing DreamLiner.

As Founder and Director of Health Software Evaluation Center, a nonprofit organization, Ms. Kelmar conducted focus groups and biochemical efficacy trials throughout the U.S., in the evaluation of an on-line multiplayer game and a CD Rom game, in conjunction with the American Lung Association, and others; designed by behavioral modification PhD experts from Stanford.

Ms. Kelmar's legal experience includes Provisional and Non-provisional Patents and trademarks; employment and government contracts; Internet disclosures; software specifications; clinical study agreements, incorporation of for-profit and non-profit corporations; Real Estate quiet title, broker non-disclosure; litigated an Appeal, Summary Judgment, discovery, tenant leases and unlawful detainers, a Breach of the Warranty of Habitability; and a complaint for predatory lending.
